Taking care of my health is not something I leave for later; it is part of who I am as a person and as a professional. These are my daily habits—personal, not business-related—that help me become the best version of myself.
- Constant hydration
Drinking enough water is essential for everything: energy, digestion, skin… and for maintaining adequate saliva production.
Why does it matter? Saliva protects teeth, neutralises acids and helps prevent cavities.
- Physical exercise: weights, cardio and mobility
Moving my body gives me focus, energy and emotional well-being.
And your mouth? Regular exercise reduces inflammation and stress, which can also help decrease bruxism.
- Skin-care routine, day and night
Cleansing, hydrating and protecting my skin is not only about beauty; it reminds me that I deserve self-care. A consistent routine helps you connect with yourself.
- Mindful eating and gut health
My rule: protein at every meal, sugar and gluten in moderation, healthy fats and real foods.
Why is my diet important for my teeth? A diet high in sugars is linked to a higher risk of dental caries. In addition, a healthy gut microbiota influences many systems—including the oral microbiota.
- Sleep routine
Sleeping well is not a luxury; it is health. Habits such as eating dinner early, reducing screen time at night and thorough oral hygiene (brushing and flossing before bed is non-negotiable) have a positive impact on brain, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, hormonal, muscular and oral health.
- Medical supplementation
The priority is always to learn to eat a balanced diet. Once that is in place, seek professional advice on supplements such as vitamin D, prebiotics, probiotics, omega-3 and magnesium—nutrients that may be scarce even in an excellent diet.
- Environment & emotions (they count, too)
Emotional health affects everything: hair, skin, stomach—and even your teeth!
Personally, prayer helps me process emotions, stay present and maintain hope, faith and love. It doesn’t give me a life without problems, but it helps me live better.
